Here seems like a good place to start.

I’m a writer, but at the end of 2019 I had a meltdown and lost all confidence in writing.

As a result, I deleted my Facebook writing page, as well as my free WordPress writing site. I also stopped writing.

If that seems overly dramatic, I suppose I’d have to agree with you. But it has given me a chance at reinvent myself and begin to treat this writing game seriously, as a professional.

So, here I am in 2020, with a new Premium (that means I’m paying for it) WordPress site that I intend to use as a vehicle to showcase my writings. The new Facebook page will come later, if at all.

A bit of background about myself:

I own, with my husband, a boutique advertising copywriting business.

My husband is an award winning author. Check out his site here.

I am a part-time student at the Bunbury (Western Australia) Campus of Edith Cowan University. At this point I’m just over half-way to completing an Arts Degree majoring in Literature and Writing.

I write poetry, short stories, reviews, opinion pieces and ramblings, and am trying to finish one of the books I’ve started.

I’m a casual support worker for a man with a disability.

I live in the Southwest of Western Australia on a small rural property.

There’s not much on this site at the moment, but as I review, edit and sort the good writing from the bad, it will grow and evolve.

As I add to the site I’ll write an update blog post explaining what’s been added and what inspired me to write it.

Feel free to subscribe so you know when I’ve added content, and help me enjoy this crazy unfolding experience we call life.

Anyway, enough procrastinating, it’s time to hit the launch button.
